The red and white wine labels feature etchings by Dame Elisabeth Frink, produced in 1974 and inspired by the wildlife that surrounded her when she was living in the Languedoc.
Lis Frink was married to Christopher’s uncle, Ted Pool and in the late 1960’s early 1970’s Lis and Ted lived in a house in the Cevennes not far from Montpellier. Christopher’s family also had a holiday home in the same place (which they still have today).
The Rose label features a painting by internationally exhibited abstract painter Lucy Ash. She draws on her life’s experiences and the painting is aptly named “Meeting of the Winds”.
