The grapes used for our wines are harvested by hand and transported gently to the winery in small crates, where further sorting and selection may take place. The date of the harvest is carefully decided depending on the maturity of the grapes, the balance of sugar and acidity and the maturity of the tannins. The vinification is carried out in a range of concrete and steel tanks with modern temperature control techniques. The wines are produced naturally without any added chemicals or fining. We aim to make wines which are balanced and not over extracted and which reflect the terroir of the domaine.
Before the final blend is made of the red wine a proportion of the production will spend up to 18 months in a mixture of new and used oak barrels.
The Domaine produces a range of red, rose and (since the 2014 vintage) white wine, which since the first vintage in 2009 have won numerous accolades from Guide Hachette, Decanter, the International Wine Challenge and elsewhere. View our awards
